Today marks the start of ANGA COM 2015, where great cable minds from abroad gather over the next three days in Cologne, Germany, to discuss all things broadband, TV, and online.

With more than 450 exhibitors and 17,000 attendees from 78 countries, this event has proven itself as Europe’s leading platform for broadband operators and content providers for more than 10 years. If fact, the top 10 countries represented are Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Switzerland, United States, France, China, Belgium, Poland, and Austria. About one-third of attendees are network operators, another third are manufacturers and service providers, and the remaining are made up of distributors, skilled trade, system integrators, content and software providers, platform operators, consultants, and media.

Association of German Cable Operators (ANGA) has become an important industry partner of SCTE and the International Society of Broadband Experts (ISBE), the global brand of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers. These organizations collaborate on and co-host an international breakfast at their respective events. This year at ANGA COM, the International Breakfast will cover “Energy Efficiency in Cable Networks, Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH), and Modern Home Networks.” ISBE President and CEO Mark Dzuban will share about Energy 2020, and SCTE Fellow Daniel Howard will explain how ISBE, MoCA®, and CableLabs® are working together to resolve potential frequency overlap issues between DOCSIS® 3.1 and MoCA® in modern home networks. The breakfast will be conducted from 9 to 10:30 a.m. CET on Wednesday, June 10 at the Speakers’ Corner in Area 10.1 of the Kölnmesse Exhibition Center. Other compelling ANGA COM 2015 technical topics include Next-Generation Networks, Connected Home, Personalized TV, Multiscreen, and Smart TV.

ANGA COM has become a leading industry event for enlarging an organization’s international footprint, and there is an annual cable event conducted in the United States that will do the same for your business. Reserve your spot as an attendee or exhibitor now at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo® 2015, where the international presence is growing. Register by June 30 and save with early-bird registration rates. I hope to see you there.
