Cable access equipment shipments increased in the first quarter of 2015, according to IHS, which tracks such developments, and as reported by Multichannel News. Multichannel’s article states that “thanks to ongoing upgrades,” DOCSIS® channel shipments rose to 1.8 million in the first quarter of this year. IHS observes that cable DOCSIS® channels for CCAP/CMTS/CMC platforms more than doubled from the first quarter of 2014 to the first quarter of 2015.

Hand-in-hand with the continued rising demand for DOCSIS® channel shipments comes the continued rising demand for cable professionals who can intelligently and skillfully manufacture, integrate, install, and troubleshoot the ever-improving DOCSIS® products to the satisfaction of cable customers.
