Expo Savings Expiring: Act Now to Learn for Less

091715_Events_SCTE_ Expo Pre-Reg Ending_imageThe cable telecommunications engineering event of the year, SCTE Cable-Tec Expo® 2015, is approaching quickly—Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 13–16, in New Orleans.

That means we are inside of a month from the start of the show. And this Friday, Sept. 18, brings the close of attendee pre-registration savings. After Friday, the rate jumps $100 for SCTE members and even more for nonmembers, so the time is now to grab your chance to learn for less.

The astute program committee headed up by Balan Nair of Liberty Global has laid down the workshop tracks for Expo 2015—Business-to-Business Solutions and Energy 2020, Next-Generation Services, Wireless and Home Networks, Wireline: Fiber and Core, and Wireline: RF. Expo will feature 35 technical workshops spread across those five main subject areas.

Technology will be the order of the day each day of Expo in New Orleans. A bowlful of gumbo might be a local favorite, but Expo will burst on the scene with its special recipe of alphabet soup—PUE, SDN,NFV, SLA, DOCSIS®, CCAP, APSIS, PON, RFoG, CPE, DCAS, DRM, QoE, IoT, AP, MoCA®, Wi-Fi, LTE-U, LAA, OFDMA, CMTS, PNM, BGP, CWDM, DWDM, OBI, EPON, etc.—stirred to steaming perfection and served up by SMEs (i.e., cable crackerjacks) in their respective workshops. See and hear presenters preview their workshops.

Also, are you properly protected from threats to your network? In partnership with CableLabs®, SCTE will conduct the daylong Cybersecurity Symposium on Tuesday, Oct. 13 in conjunction with Expo (separate registration required). Be on hand as keynoter John N. Stewart of Cisco talks “Strategies and Solutions.”

Bring your appetite for learning about here-and-now as well as future-focused technology to Expo in New Orleans. It is gratifying to taste Expo firsthand so that when colleagues and friends are still talking about it months and years later, you can relate because you were there, too—learning for less.

So, again, sign up by Friday to attend Expo 2015 and you’ll save money before the timer goes off! From practical technical workshops and noteworthy networking events to a bustling exhibit hall, expect an exciting Expo!
